Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the GabbiiDAO platform ("Platform"), operated by KaidáO ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Your account must be approved by a platform administrator before you can participate in governance activities.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. User Roles and Responsibilities

The Platform supports multiple stakeholder roles including Project Developer, Validator, Government, Academy, Community, Technical Expert, Technical Secretariat, Register, and Standard. Each role carries specific responsibilities:

• Users must act within the scope of their assigned role.
• Role assignments are subject to verification and approval.
• Misrepresentation of your role or qualifications may result in account suspension.
• Users with administrative roles (Technical Secretariat) must exercise their powers responsibly and in the interest of fair governance.

4. Proposal Governance

• Proposals must relate to environmental projects and comply with Platform guidelines.
• Proposal creators are responsible for the accuracy of the information they submit.
• Proposals may be reviewed, commented on, and voted upon by eligible stakeholders.
• The Platform reserves the right to remove proposals that violate these Terms or are deemed fraudulent.
• Proposal outcomes are determined by the collective voting process and recorded on the blockchain.

5. Voting

• Voting eligibility is determined by your assigned role and jurisdiction.
• Each eligible user receives one vote per proposal unless otherwise specified by the governance rules.
• Votes are final once submitted and cannot be changed or retracted.
• Any attempt to manipulate voting outcomes, including creating multiple accounts or coercing other users, is strictly prohibited.

6. Blockchain Records

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Governance actions including votes, proposal approvals, and decisions are recorded on the Hedera blockchain.
• Blockchain records are immutable and cannot be altered, deleted, or reversed once submitted.
• Blockchain transactions are publicly verifiable and form a permanent record of governance activity.
• You accept full responsibility for your on-chain governance actions.

7. Intellectual Property

• The Platform, its design, code, and branding are the intellectual property of KaidáO.
• Content you submit (proposals, comments, documents) remains your property, but you grant us a non-exclusive license to display and process it on the Platform.
• You must not copy, modify, or distribute the Platform or its proprietary materials without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• KaidáO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform or the accuracy of blockchain network interactions.
• KaidáO is not responsible for the outcomes of governance decisions made through the Platform.
• You acknowledge the inherent risks of blockchain technology, including network congestion and transaction fees.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
